About the resolution of LCD

Resolution Resolution is a very important performance indicator. It refers to the number of points that can be displayed horizontally and vertically on the screen (lines and planes on the screen are composed of points). The higher the resolution, the more information can be included in the same screen. 480×800 resolution and 320×240 resolution are perfect display. Because there is little difference between the two, but the maximum resolution is not necessarily the most appropriate resolution. If 480×8000 LCD is used in 320×240 LCD, the display content will be smaller.   Visual area of LCD It refers to the part of the display area that can be used to display the image in practical application. The full size is actually the size of its frame and PCB board, and the part that can be used to display images does not reach this size at all, because the frame takes up some space. Generally speaking, the area of 4-inch 480×800 LCD is 51.84×86.4mm, and that of 3.5-inch 320×240 LCD is 70.08×52.56mm. But for LCD, the size of area is basically the size of the visible area, and the space occupied by the frame is relatively small. The 4-inch 480×800 LCD has a display area of 51.84 * 86.4mm.So choose LCD screen, choose suitable for your own equipment.   Reaction speed The unit of time used to measure reaction speed is millisecond (ms), which is the time required for a pixel to go from light to dark and from dark to light.

Why don’t colors look the same across different devices?

It is a common misconception that all electronics should exhibit the same colors, especially with devices with the same make and model. However, this is often not the case. Have you considered what’s actually causing the picture to look different? It is a common misconception that all electronics should exhibit the same colors, especially with devices with the same make and model. However, this is often not the case. This is illustrated with a simple experiment: when you put the same image on two monitors side-by-side, you have at least a 95% of chance that the images will not look the same, and you will probably find yourself in a situation like that shown in Figure 1. The monitors do not need to be the same make and same model, but for illustration purposes, we used four identical monitor images.                  Different colors on same kind of Devices                                                                                Figure 1: Different colors on the same type of device Another place to witness this phenomenon is when you are shopping for a new TV. Most people go to a large electronics store and decide between the TVs on display. Then, you pick the one with the colors or image quality (or price) that you find

Breaking the Mold: Comparing Screenage’s Tempered and AR Laminated Glass

This video showcases two different types of glass used in outdoor machines: tempered glass and AR laminated glass. Both types were subjected to impact testing and smashed to demonstrate their differences.Firstly, let’s take a look at tempered glass. While it’s stronger than regular glass, it can still shatter under strong impact. When tempered glass breaks, it splits into small pieces that may cause harm to people nearby. By contrast, AR laminated glass offers superior safety performance. It uses a polymer interlayer to bond two sheets of glass together, which ensures that even if it breaks, the glass fragments adhere tightly to the polymer. This means shattered glass won’t fly around and is easier to clean up. As a result, AR laminated glass is widely used in situations where high safety is required, such as car windows and building exteriors. Through this test, we demonstrated how the two types of glass break differently. We hope this video provides useful information to help you better understand different types of glass. https://youtu.be/60wnYg0ubzs
